MOD has relationships with many different suppliers and to be effective both parties need to work together in a clear and ordered manner. The account approach allows both MOD to quickly understand and appreciate your capabilities and allows you to be better informed of opportunities and progress.
Having a more structured and interactive relationship with defence suppliers and partners, both new and existing, is central to MOD's Defence Industrial and Technical strategy. By opening an account you will enable MOD to be more aware of your capabilities and, as our relationship develops, allow MOD to keep you better informed - not least on the progress of your proposals.

The account structure within the Enterprise Portal has been designed to offer different organisations flexibility in the way they use the account. We hope your Enterprise will be able to use the account structure to support and reinforce your own ways of working. There are two types of account, the 'Single-User' account operated by a single person and 'Multiple-User' accounts that can be configured to allow many different people to develop and witness opportunity development and the submission and tracking of proposals.

Single-User accounts can be quickly and immediately set up on-line within the Enterprise Portal. Single-User accounts constrained to use by only one person. Multiple-User accounts from a single organisation require an "Enterprise Authority" to sign-up to the account and enable other staff within the organisation Enterprise to use the account. Centre for Defence Enterprise staff will be pleased to offer advice and assistance on setting up Multiple-User accounts.
