Tracking a proposal

Once submitted, tracking a proposal is easy. The status indicator in your CDE account is updated as the proposal progresses.

The proposal status indicators are:

  • Created: Opportunity title and description entered on Portal
  • Work in Progress: Opportunity details being entered on Portal web pages
  • Draft: Published within Enterprise as pdf draft
  • Final: Published within Enterprise as pdf final (can be reset to draft)
  • Submitted: Submitted to MOD as pdf proposal: Note this is the only version of the proposal that MOD staff see
  • Received: Acknowledgement of receipt by MOD
  • Assessing: Being assessed/scored by MOD reviewers
  • Deciding: With MOD decision makers
  • Not viable: Proposal declined by MOD
  • Viable: Proposal accepted by the MOD subject to contractual agreement. You should not commence work or enter into any financial commitment until you have received a contract
  • Contracted: Proposal under contract
