Guidance on value of proposals
Based on feedback asking for clarification, this list gives guidelines below on what we expect from proposals . These guidelines are not prescriptive, and we are open to proposals outside or in between the ranges below.
£0-£30,000 - Simple test and evaluation or proof of principle demonstration
£0-£100,000 - Initial feasibility investigation or proof of concept work. We expect a phased programme with at least one review point.
£100,000 - £250,000 - Technology growth/development. We expect a phased programme with at least one review point.
£250,000 - £1,000,000 - Technology application/demonstration. We expect a phased programme with a number of review points.
£0 - £120,000 - University research funding. For larger financial values, we expect a phased programme with at least one review point.
