For Participants

The MOD attaches great importance to adherence to ethical guidelines and Health & Safety regulations for research involving human participants to minimise risk. Accordingly, procedures are in place to ensure compliance to JSP 536.

Before taking part in research, participants should read and understand the Participant Information Sheet and ensure that any questions/queries have been answered to their satisfaction. Only then should Participants sign the Consent Form.

Participants are entitled to ask for clarification on any points relating to the research, at any time preceding, during, or after the research.
