Proposal Guidelines

The CDE use ‘The Portal’ to receive and assess your ideas. The portal has been designed with a structured set of web forms to help you draw out and highlight the key aspects of your proposal, more advice is available on ‘The Portal’ pages with guidance, examples and handbooks. To use the portal you must first open an account – information on how to do this is available on ‘The Portal’ pages

Further information on CDE commercial terms is available under Funding Contracts and IPR.

Further information on timescales involved with submitting a CDE proposal is available under Proposal Submission Timelines.

When prepared, the final step is to submit the proposal to CDE through the portal. Submission automatically generates a “pdf” version of the proposal which is made available to CDE to view and assess. The proposal can then be tracked online (see Tracking a Proposal). Information is also available on how we assess your proposal.
