On 26 Jan 2012, CDE held a briefing on maritime innovation priorities. The presentations from this session will be made available on the website. Proposals to these challenges should be made through the CDE Open Call process. There is also the opportunity to register an interest with the DSTL Maritime research team.
13/03/2012 - CDE Call Closes 1200 Noon 13th March 2012
This CDE Call is for research proposals to enable increased platform efficiency through the life of the platform and ultimately avoid non compliance with sustainability and environment protection which otherwise might limit operations at sea. The call is not limited to new or emerging technology and proposals optimising combinations of innovative, but existing, technology will be welcomed. This call for proposals will close at 1200 on Tuesday 13 March 2012.

CDE call for research proposals. The UK Biological Engagement Programme aims to reduce the risk of deliberate misuse of biological materials and expertise by fostering international scientific engagement, promoting best practice in biosecurity and biosafety, and building capability for effective understanding and control of the infectious disease threat. This CDE call invites proposals that link a UK institute with an overseas partner and must demonstrate significant benefit both to the programme aim of strengthening biological security and to the collaborating overseas partner. Call launch (in London) on Wednesday 18th January 2012 and call closes 1200 noon Thursday 8th March 2012.
