Joint Supply Chain

Royal Fleet Auxillary "Mounts Bay"

The maintenance and operation of an efficient Joint Supply Chain (JSC) requires the integration of all activities associated with the two-way flow of materiel and relevant information from industry to the end-user in order to sustain military capability. This concerns such things as fuel, ammunition and food and includes the actions of provisioning, receipting, storage, issue, distribution and the return of repairable items as well as unwanted materiel.

The Objectives within the Joint Supply Chain system cover land and maritime areas. Objectives concerning the air battlespace can be found in the Air and Helicopters system.
